That’s what I called the series of works I began painting in late 2021 and finished in 2022. The Numbers series is a commentary on the pandemic and post-pandemic world we currently live in. As a society, we are treated by those who govern us as a gray indistinguishable mass of human beings. Human as well as animal life has lost its value. During the pandemic, we became nothing, more like numbers and figures filling statistics. Each of my images is completely different. Like humans and every living being, we are unique, one of a kind. Although each of my images has its own idiosyncratic pre-assigned number is a separate and completely unique entity.
