Transcription is a series of works that talk about the need to translate ourselves; in order to understand ourselves, we must learn to understand ourselves. It is a difficult and tedious process, like painting a picture. You have to bring it to light through a series of seemingly simple but complicated procedures of being in deep contact with yourself.
The painting, which I now offer as an art print, was commissioned by one of my favorite collectors who has been collecting my works since I began my career as a painter. I cherish these types of commissions, as he trusts me and allows me creative freedom, asking me to paint an artwork from the Transcription series.
